Due to a recent pile-up of homework and class assignments, I will have to postpone drawing for a short period of time. Once I have completed said assignments, I will resume drawing and may take requests for a little while. On another note, I probably won't be able to reply to any messages at this time, so I'm not being rude on purpose or anything like that.
Around March 7th or so, I will resume my regular schedule of drawing, as well as spend some time working on my manuscript for this new story I came up with over the weekend.
In the meantime, watch some television while I'm gone. Or, no. Go outside. It's the best game there is. Maybe.
Nineteen illustrations out of thirty illustrations goal. As of now, two requests have been completed. Maybe five or six more requests to finish? :I

News on Art and Fiction Updates
Discovered my art syle! Kind of. I still need to practice using it on characters with more distinct features. After this, I had thought that it would be a good idea to start comissions, but then it came to me... I still haven't practiced lighting, shading, and perspective. Nor have I opened critiques for any of this. Once I finish my projects and assignments from school, I'll get started.
I have reread an unfinished chapter of my new fanfiction. My use of vocabulary and subject descriptions seems nice enough. Although I can't say that I've written it in a unique writing style. And yes, writing does,
in fact, have different styles too. Unlike drawing, I have no clue what style I'm trying to aim for. Fast-paced? Super descriptive? I'm not so sure.
Anywhoooo, here's the link to the unfinished chapter: flightlessbirdmachinery.tumblr…
I started out writing in past-tense... but then I felt the need to add specific details to the events that unfolded. So then I started writing in half-present-tense half-past-tense? I'm not sure if that's something I should ignore or fix.
So, if anyone has the time to read the passage, would you mind giving me a bit of a critique on it? It's pretty amateur-ish, in my opinion. Although, my ELA teacher gave it two thumbs up. Of course, I'm pretty sure I'm not ready to write something, submit it to some big publishing company (of which I will have to hire an agent to assist me in doing so, according to guidelines) and completely blow their minds.
I've decided that it's time to take my sucky writing skills to the test and see how unique and well thought-out I'll get things.
Currently drowning in homework, because of this I have to stop drawing for a while to catch up. Will resume at around March 7th. Practicing art style and writing skills.
Some Recent Work
Hopefully, you'll have more to see here in the next journal.
Don't forget to comment! I apologize if I haven't proofread my journal thoroughly enough and you happen to spot a few or several spelling and/or grammatical errors.
